While in Wilmington for Spring Break, we took the kids to the US North Carolina Battleship. As you can imagine, the ship is HUGE and offered so much to explore on and below deck. We can't wait to go back for another adventure. The boys loved all the guns -- they are very into the military right now!

Battleship

Dinner Club Goes to the Beach
For the past six years, we have been part of a monthly Dinner Club with four other couples. They are are dear friends, comrades in parenthood, and so much more. We look forward to time together each month -- the menu and location changes but we can always count on lots of laughter, great conversation, delicious food, and plenty of libation! This April, we spent a long weekend together at the beach -- no kids! It was wonderful and hopefully, a new annual tradition! Here are a few pics of the guys and girls...

A Favorite Thing
Addison loves her pink poncho, a hand-me-down from our friend Sophie. She wears it all the time and in some ways it is her "security coat"! Often, she'll find it and bring it to one of us to help her put it on. She just beams when we wears it. Now that it's getting hot, we're not sure what's going to happen to the poncho. She may be a trend-setter -- wearing her poncho and a swim diaper at the pool this summer!
Better Late or Not-so-March Madness
Warning... this blog is operating on a 2-month delay.

So, several months ago there was this basketball tournament that lots of people were excited about. Well, so were we. This seems beyond anti-climatic now!
I took all 3 kids plus our neighbor, Sager, to watch Tennessee's open practice at the Charlotte Arena. We had a blast -- sitting right down front, cheering for the players... The boys learned some new moves.
Afterward, we hit the Tournament Zone for some pizza and games...
The highlight, of March Madness, by far was cheering for the Davidson Wildcats. The boys have
become huge Davidson fans and even sweet little Addison sat in her chair and cheered wildly.
